It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
I ran it stock last year. There are ways around the more difficult areas, I believe, bit I've only been there twice. Last time (earlier this year) we went places that stock wouldn't have made it. I'll let others with more detailed knowledge jump in...

There is a youtube video of stock 3rd gen doing flagpole. I haven't been there yet but it seems like some parts are optional.

I’m still stock height with better tires and have done it fine. There are a few harder parts where I had to take a different line (don’t follow @fatfurious2 haha)

Damn...must be nice! Actually, I would probably get less work done than I already do if that were the case for me.

We had to make a case for a need for it. It was a long process, but we do in fact need outside access. A lot of the sites we need to go to are filtered and we couldnt get our work done.

There are several ways up and down Flagpole and meadow knob. Switzer lake, union springs and the easy way briery branch road I believe. All can be made stock as I have seen several do it but last time I was up there it was washed out pretty good in spots and at least required some decent tires. Still can be done in 4 lo if needed and a tow strap is always good to have on hand with vehicle in front or rear. It all depends how you drive and how you treat your truck. Its nice cus you can shift through the gears in 4 high and 4 lo to get them at least worked out a little bit.

Just get a Remington 870 or Mossberg 500/90, both are very inexpensive in the realm of shotguns but easily some of the most versatile, quickly adapted to whatever you're after with a simple barrel swap. A 20" barrel will handle most and a slug barrel takes care of the rest.
I'll take you out as well.

Im getting a slug barrel for mine this year to get another chunk of the season.

    Morning fellas ;) :hattip:
Been down for the count last couple days, dentist did some major drilling into my jaw and anesthesia has finally worn off. Very swollen and sore but can see straight again.
    That nitrous was fun :D
