Got my sights on this stud muffin

 

I know right..never actually seen him yet but will.

 

My FIL's father used to go on all kinds of rants, and one of them was that he felt that you should have to take a test to get a hunting license. "There's people out there running through the woods with no idea what they're doing, and they're going to kill someone."

While some of his rants were way off the deep end, I think he was right about that one. For example, if you're out dove hunting it is expected you know what a dove looks like. He caught a guy on his property with a bag full of Mexican Grackles. Yes, they're annoying, but they're also a protected species under the Migratory Species Act. Dude had no idea that they weren't doves, nor that he was way above the limit even if they were.

Morning all! Had my coffee, caught up to the current page (!), finishing my smoothie, and then it's off to an exciting retired person day - empty the dishwasher, crunch the cans, put a remote battery pack on my weather station head, and clean the pond filters. IF I can survive that, I might put a sticker on the truck. OH, and happy that I made an appointment with @Texoma shop for my shocks and struts! I could not refuse that! Stoked that I will have a regular Tacoma ride again, instead of the Chris Craft.

 

Actually have a hunting spear for the poke it with a stick test..an carry a bouy knife.

I use the knife hand every day when I’m working when we get busy helps me remember call signs.
