Ya he does want a bunch for this, there is one locally for sale at the shop new and just for a couple hundred more. Going to hold a little longer to see if one pops up, willing to drive to one if the price is good.

Ya it’s gonna cost me 450 locally to get repainted, might as well get the other one and not worry about it... The hunt continues. We should probably start a new thread for Barcelona red campers for sale to keep this clean.

 

Yes, I have been quoted anywhere from $450 to 700 to have one painted. I guess the Barcelona Red is a tri-coat paint. Very hard process to apply and the red is supposedly the hardest color to match perfectly. Lol...a couple years ago I had a local shop paint a shell for my red '06 F150. They wanted $300. When I got there and we sat it on the truck it was a couple shades too dark. The manager was like 'sorry, that's the best we can do'. I said no problem. I will put a sign on the windows of the shell that the 'pros' painted it to match at your shop and drive around with it like that. Long story short, they painted it 3 more times before I 'accepted' it as matching. Moral is it may be better just to spend the extra and buy new. The companies guarantee it to match...

What color is it? And what is your best cash price?? Got a pic?? Lol, I'm about to trade my short bed for a long bed... I play drums in a couple bands and that 5ft bed is kind of getting on my nerves...

You won’t regret! They’re very handy. And a tall one seems to increase bed capacity overall.

I prefer black cap just because it keeps the truck looking more like a truck than a limo.
