True, but it's hard to go on trips when you work 6 days a week

Welllllllp you’re an adult, you can choose what you do for a living.

I know I wouldn’t work 6 days a week for 6 weeks vacation or whatever

I wasn't told I'd have to do this for a year. Was supposed to be 4 months at most. But I can't argue with you on that but the over time is nice

Quoted the wrong thing. To become an LLC is $100 here.

In some places an LLC is $40 annually. In the State of California, an LLC is $998 annually.

I’m going for an S-Corporation. $800 initially, $300 every year thereafter.

Crunch the numbers first. Start by figuring out what the materials cost and what you're worth an hour. I'd say that you're likely exposing yourself to a bigger liability working on that van.

Calculating my hourly rate, that’s something I never thought I’d do.

I did a lot of accounting, and I asked some colleagues who run their own corporations in the state. The overwhelming response was go for an S-Corp instead of an LLC.

    I’ll do more research.

    Tis true
the Avalon’s a great cruiser.. and it sounds so good since I did muffler deletes lol. I like the 86. I get to drive them a lot at work. But I want one cheap because I would immediately add boost. It’s fun yes. But it needs more power for me.. it’s slower than my Avalon. That bugs me

$50 to file and $35 extra to expedite it.
Then you file for federal tax id number.

Overwhelming opinion of California on this forum is that it’s the worst place in the world.

Worst than Nazi Germany, Worst than Soviet Russia, Worst than Muzzolini Era Italy.

I mentioned my California title once based on my Vermont reg, and every goes haywire about how shit this state is.

It gets old. I’ll be honest.

    I completely agree.

People act like it’s a goddamn wasteland though.

Pismo beach to the redwoods it's awesome. I'll skip over S.F. myself though.
