Lots of people who had lifted trucks say they liked 1.03 better with the shifting I believe?

    Pardon my ignorance....
    What is "Tip-in" ?

Initial acceleration as you press the make believe gas pedal is my guess ? :notsure:

So 1.03 was better than 1.04r?

I am really hoping by the time I get my install stuff, 1.05 will be released so I don't have to set my desktop up in my truck :p

Do not take the preference of one group of people (I.e. people with mods like lifts and big heavy tires and even regearing) to be the verdict or representative of everyone. 1.04R is better imo, and I have stock suspension and all that. So, am I wrong because I feel that way?

    The answer is no.

1.04 feels like 1.03 but with less aggressive throttle. 1.03 was real aggressive.

@OVTune, I was just thinking about the Toyota Jamboree in Texas. Maybe you should go one year to get a lot more exposure in the Toyota world. It’s a massive off-road expo with people from all over the US and sometimes people from other countries

1.03B/C 91 made my truck stutter..

1.04A 91 was smooth and powerful, but knocked.

04b13 was Damn good for a Toyota file.

    1.04R 91 is kinda meh.

    C'mon 1.05!

It’s somewhere in Texas. It’s massive, usually a couple hundred rigs, about a week long, camp on site, trail riding, vendors, off-road companies, etc.

I understand that, I just want to hear why they think that. I really hope it makes this truck feel like a whole different animal, because the current feeling is that it is on its way to die and I hate it.
