She has an awesome king size bed in our master bedroom that she allows me to sleep in. She also has her own plush ottoman next to my desk in my office.

Just to prove I wasn't making it up, here is some quick shots of the weather station (aka Yellow Submarine), and proof there is a pond. Yes, I am a weather junkie. (And NOW I know that to do about all this Avatar stuff going on!)

As it stood, the batteries were in the station on top of the pole. Not that it's that bad, loosen 6 bolts and bring it down.

    20181002_131840.jpg

When the batteries go, which used to be about 2 times a year, you bring it down, and put it on the sawhorse (aka Submarine yard). The reason I got this is last week was the third replacement this year.

    20181002_132057.jpg (sorry about the focus)

Added the battery pack adapter, and tie wrapped the cord on down, and mounted it back up. JUST FOR YOU IN THE TTC, I GAVE IT 9" LIFT!

    20181002_141920.jpg

And, here is the battery pack now, down where I can get it. I knew all those hose clamps I bought would be useful...…

    20181002_141910.jpg

And, after the filters were cleaned, fish were happy, bees were not. (I covered one of their water rocks.) There are two side mounted filters and Little Giant pumps on each side, and the fountain filter and pump. About a dozen "feeder goldfish" of various variety. Papyrus to the right front, Parrot Feather to left front. 3 kinds of Lilies in the middle, and an Umbrella plant. If you don't bother with fish, you don't need so much filter, but you still need circulation.

And, after I watered all the pots out back, that was it kids. But I did get that far!

My last two weather stations never made 'er thru the Winter, lol. Got warranty on the first one. Then the manufacture contacted me & said there not made for extreme weather. I think the metric system did it in.

Mine is an Accu-Rite 5 in 1, and it's not original, but they are the best I have found without spending NOAA money. This is my third, and modified with two solar cells (all they do is dry out the internals with a fan). One died (replaced with warranty), second I broke trying to make the original Yellow Submarine, this about 3 years old, with the dual kit last year. Best for the money. If you want to see a lot of user info, they have a FB group. Amazing that the posts I have seen with them in hurricane winds recording 90+ mph! here is the FB group: And I just remembered that I don't recall any winter posts from folks in Canada. But AccuRite is HQ in Wisconsin...….:canada:
