I'd say 1.05 is similar response to 1.03 without any jolting because of the changes to the torque converter. It's VERY controllable, and very responsive.

 

Is that compared to stock?

Yes, for the most part.

All 91 Octane files have noticeably more power than stock.

04B13 was far and away better than the stock garbage my truck shipped with, 04B10.

1.03B/C 91 files had side effects on my truck that Mat later cured.

1.04A 91 was the best file of all of them IMO.

1.04R91 is meh to me because it has some stuttering and is not as powerful as 1.04A 91.

Just my .02, I've got the worst Tacoma on here to try and tune lol.

Looked it up. They still have May 2018 info up but assuming the location doesn't change, they host it clear on the other side of Texas from me lol about an 11 hour drive for me

 

I’ve never ran 1.03 but I can tell you the tip in on 1.04r is only marginally better then stock. I hope 1.05 has a little more aggressive tip in.

 

I experience some stuttering on 1.04r as well.

 

I'm pretty sure at this point, turbos are either going to cure your truck or blow it up instantly.

One of the big things I am looking for is what Mat described earlier about torque converter lock and what not. I also am looking for more throttle response and more feedback from the truck. It feels, to me, like the computer is holding it back a TON.
I hate how it shifts so much, either keep the gear or lug it...

@MOC221_ gets twins and only one functions at a time. not even sure how thats possible but im sure if anyone could pull it off, he's the guy

 

All three cylinders on one side don’t fire, the next day they swap to the other side. Temperamental like a redhead step child

04B13 ran really well for me, so fingers crossed that a 1.05 file based on that code will be fine.
