I seemed to have avoided the balancing issues that are sometimes associated with Duratracs. I have them in C load. And I don't think for anything that's not wheeling where you really should have full armor that they have held back at all. Did Vermont pretty ok I think.

I see a huge difference over the stock tires for when I do my Creek trail to my fishing spot up the mtn. But that's just a stock to Duratrac comparison to be expected

I have gone through more a couple sets of DuraTracs....
Had some C range on my Frontier. No issues.
Had several sets on a Quigley(Fresh set every winter) that saw more 4low than you would believe.
Only real gripe, was for the tread, they were marginally better than the KOs.
They do get loud as they wear, even with religious rotation.
So, if the wildpeaks are a bust, I'll be going that route again.

Anyone going camping this weekend? Going to be a great one. Trying to figure out if we are going local or for an adventure ourselves. Staying out of VT with all this recent rain and still in the air about Running to Maine.

My thing is the flood plains where I fish. The rising water in the spring mixed with those marsh areas make me cautious at times . Other than that I'd most likely stick with an AT over an MT

I'll be camping in Maine this weekend. Last trip out I think, I'll likely winterize it the following weekend and put it away for winter.

    Morning all. Happy hump day!
Still hard dark when I've gotten up the last couple of days. On the other hand, when we 'fall back' in a couple of weeks it'll be dark when I get out of work, and that'll be worse, lol.

Not sure what's in store for this weekend to be honest. I look at maps, people's photo albums, and travel journals nightly to plan trips so it's just a matter of going there.

We might take it easy this week though and travel some of the Hamster ride. I've got a gut feeling there's some "cut through" off the route and I'd like to verify/find them.
