Finally after 7 years of being a Sergeant I was promoted. DOR is 17 June 2010 to Staff Sergeant. Sorry if this is a worthless thread, I'm just pretty excited about it. Word of advise never tell your CSM to F**k off when your a Sergeant.....Kinda halts your career for a few years.

    Congrats Sergeant...!

And sometimes telling your CSM to fuk off isn't a bad thing, it brings 'em back down to Earth...

Thanks again everybody. Yea that CSM needed it, and I'm not one to hold anything back. He was a good respectable CSM, but he crossed the line with me. Oh well it's in the past.

Ive been to the green zone a time or two. Mostly to the Arch of Sabers when I was on convoy security for turn and burn missions. Been just about everywhere between Mosul and Bazarah.

Congrats! We don't have that problem so much in the AF of telling people to f'k off and not getting promoted. My Dad experience that in his Army days, though. He took after his LT with a bat and lost Sgt for a while (hehe).
