Well, with KDSS gone you one less thing to fix/replace when it eventually breaks and sprays hydraulic fluid everywhere. My buddy with a 200 series LC is ripping his off since he's in bum fukt africa.

That video is super cringey though. The music, the replay, etc. Cool that he did it, but they need better video editing lol.

Tool people...I had my drill stolen recently and need to buy another one. I had a DeWalt before and it was "fine", and just bought a Ryobi yesterday but apparently one of the batteries is already defective so going to get another one.

    Any recommendations?

Ryobi if just doing "home owner" type stuff. Have had mine for quite awhile. I did have a motor go bad after 4 years though (in the drill). No fault of the drill though IMO. Its drilled through quite a bit of stuff its really undersized/powered to.The new brushless stuff is pretty nice too and ill upgrade to it in the nearish future.

Milkwaukee if you need something a bit heavier duty. Dewalt is nice too

Ryobi and Milkwaukee are under the same parent company. They tend to have a lot of similarities in products. Ryobi just gets stuff a bit later release wise and tends to have more plastic.

Pretty much all my cordless stuff is Ryobi and my corded stuff is Dewalt.

If you thought the Dewalt was just "fine" though....what specifically did you find made it just fine? Might be able to point ya more towards something that hits those points.
