I feel ya. I have a G17 and a shield. I prefer to carry the 17, but that shield is just so easy. I have been carrying it a lot more lately. I also have a J frame .38 that I carry around the house in my pocket.

I buy the 40 cal Glocks so I can get conversion barrels and have more than one caliber:D

I still want to find a G22 and cut the handle down to 23/19 size.

    I hate you guys...

Between living in MA and wifey being a complete pacifist I can’t have the fun pew pew toys. even though it’s highly recommended for someone in this occupation.

Hmm... never thought about that. I just don't care for .40, so always bought 9mm. I was carrying a 19 for a few years, then got a killer deal on this 17 and quit carrying the 19. I eventually sold it to a buddy at work.

Thankfully my wife is into guns and shooting. I think she thought I was paranoid for a while after we got married, but she now understands why I'm so concerned about security and self defense.

We stayed up in her in-laws cabin in North Conway NH and almost had to leave because she saw the big safe in the basement laundry room and “knew what was in it”. She has never been exposed to first hand violence in her life. With all the shit I’ve been through and seen, I’m numb to it; nothing surprises me.

You can get a 9mm conversion barrel or throw a 357 sig barrel in and you have 3 different guns :D

Same same. BBC America's marathon of Doctor Who is still ongoing.. So I'm trying to stay awake with that and thoughts of new guns I can't afford.

We both grew up in rural Oklahoma where everyone has guns, so buying and owning guns was never an issue. Most of the get togethers with my family are spent shooting in the pasture behind my dad's house, and my wife loves it. I just had to convince her that there are bad people in the world and she needs to be aware of her surroundings, along with hardening our home against potential intruders. After pointing out several news articles about stuff happening close to home, she gets it now.

You just have to arrange an on-the-job "accident" for them.

There’s a girl who has like 8 cats that comes in 10 min before shift change and drops her shit on my desk (shared space). I’ve asked her NUMEROUS times not to since I’m deathly allergic and those last 10 minutes are miserable.
