Did you notice any mileage changes after the upgrade to a metal bumper?

I cant stand things like scratched gauge cluster plastic but for some reason my bumper gap doesn't really bother me. The day buying my Pro i noticed it and said, eh.

Other people have noticed it and i still say, eh.

Funny how some things drive you crazy and others don't when it probably should haha

You guys crack me up with your "OCD" claims.... OCD means you do repetitive actions prior to executing a routine process; are you measuring both sides of the truck bumper end caps multiple times prior to driving then measure again after returning? Are you walking around the truck a certain number if times then reverse direction the same? Are you repeating this ritual every time?

These are examples of OCD behavior, nothing at all what you describe.

You fussy bastards are anal retentive....

Look it up if you dont believe me.

Sounds like your describing RAS - Repetitive Action Syndrome which is a whole other ball game man....

    I Obsess - I am Compulsive - and I will be the first to admit I have a Disorder = OCD :p

Time to get you worked up about something else! Have you checked the bed alignment near the cab? Does one side stick out further?

I noticed a difference in gaps between panels on a couple late model Hondas I previously owned. It didn’t bother me. I haven’t noticed this issue on my Tacoma, but I’ll take a look. If there’s a difference, I’m certain it won’t bother me.

Just checked mine. Passenger side is like a virgin, tight. Driver side is like the neighborhood slut, 4 finger easy in, no lube required.

Doesn’t bother me much but I’ll bring it up at my 10k service.

Every 3rd gen I have seen is plagued by the dreadful misaligned bumper caps. But tbh it isn't noticeable until you look for it... doesn't bother me enough to get it fixed
