    Have u tried mustard or collard greens? We just planted canola and soybeans in our green fields for deer (we cleaned out the seed hoppers to plant our green field haha) and they have come up and are ready to eat. The deer won't hit em till it frost, and maybe not till a little later because there is plenty of beans and corn to eat and acorns will be falling soon too... They wont miss a few early messes of greens

    I have tried both of those and I like collards better. It's hard to find Yankees that can make a good mess of greens.

    I have 2 ponds and Koi love duckweed , I pick it up at another pond and bring it to my pond (5 gallon buckets) it all gets eaten up in 3-4 days.
    I quit doing it because it was a hassle.
    Just buy some cheap koi , there small when cheap but in 3 years they’ll be 15-18” and fat
    They’ll eat all the duckweed in time and you won’t be polluting with chemicals

    What kind of cats?
    I had bullhead cats and they’d try to eat fish bigger than them.
    Basically like bullfrogs - whatever swims in front of them they’ll eat, even if it doesn’t fit.
    Bluegill will be fine - mine just eat bugs and tiny fish
