He's doing alright. Hired a lawyer yesterday.

Taking him to the lakehouse after work so he can pick up his other taco.

Thanks for asking Mike. How you doing today brother?

Think we may have to. I might run home and grab some clothes first so I can crash up there.

Yes I did. Thing to note is they ship it to a company here for delivery but that company only delivers from 10-2 on weekdays so I picked it up from their warehouse after work. They close at 8pm. It’s called Southwestern Motor Transport.

They are. But it’s the only cover I could find that I could remove by myself if I really needed to. Or fold a section to haul big items or haul things on top. Plus it locks for keeping things inside the bed. I was close to buying a bakflip but the security was a concern.

My Bak Revolver X2 is pretty secure, with the locking tailgate, and can support 400 pounds on top, but is either all open or closed.

That was the one I was looking at but it is fairly new to the market so I couldn’t find much details and reviews.

The X4 is the version new to the market, the X2 is the older version. Not sure of the difference between the two. Yours is pretty nice!

Morning ATX'ers. Just wanted to introduce myself. New to TW. Was looking for a beater to teach my boys to drive stick with and thought it would be fun to get a truck. Found this awesome little 06 RC 5mt Prerunner in SA. Since this taco is intended to be a beater, I was not going to do much to it, but after spending time on TW, it's hard not to mod it.

Anyways, "Hi" and have a great Wednesday. Hook'em.

Welcome to TW, glad you found this thread, and we will be more than happy to recommend any of a myriad of ways to separate your money from your wallet in ways that your truck benefits from...especially as it's a regular cab MT. There are some folks that will go full jelly on you.

We're a large, active group, and meet at least monthly. Cars and Coffee is normally our main go-to, but sometimes the mood strikes and someone organizes a raid on a taco truck. Stay tuned here and the TTC Official Thread for details. If you're on Facebook, you can find us as the Texas Toyota Coalition, ATX Tacomas, and TacomaWorld. There is also the Cars and Coffee Austin page that is worth following because it's how we know when they're scheduling the next month's event.

Welcome to "the list" and I hope we see you at a future meet!

If anybody in the Austin area has a pistol that shoots .357sig, GTs is having a sale on some gold dot (50rds) ammo. $15 a box! They also had a few boxes of .45
