Hehe... Probably just keep the Plano boxes and treads on the rear rack. I intend to use the front rack for odds and ends for camping and off roading trips (gas and water cans, etc.) so I don't have to fill up my bed too full. I'll leave it empty most of the time. I mainly wanted to get this so it looks consistent with the rear toprac. The OEM rack looked out of place and this looks cleaner IMO.

I have the TredPros between the plano cases on the rear rack. Keeps them a bit more stealth so assholes don't try to steal them.

Fluids weigh a lot and really offset center of gravity at that height. Just something to keep in mind.

Also, would anyone be interested in an UltraGuage Blue? I have one but picked up a hard mount from the group buy that just happened. PM me for details!

Thanks Shane. I will keep that in mind. As you know, I don't tend to get into heavy duty rock crawling and off camber situations. But still a good observation. The gas and water would most likely be for mojave trail or desert camping trips where I would unload prior to going on runs.

50lbs of water or 45ish of gas is a bit awkward to remove from the top. Its not even fun pulling a full jerry can out of my swing out. Just some food for thought for the street queen :D

Haha... Yeah. After the first time I tried it I would prolly say "fuck that" and toss it in the bed.
I always have too much shit in my bed and can't see out the back when I go camping (I over prepare). It will be nice to have extra rack space to spread out the supplies.

For sure haha Put the lighter stuff up there for easy access and the heavier stuff in easy locations. When I had my shell on i was going to put a rack on it and throw my tire up there, then I picked up a 33” tire and went straight inside and placed an order for a dual swing out haha

Actually, they sent me directly to the Prinsu Designs website rather than the CBI website in order to get the discount.

Lemme know how the tires work out. Interested to know how much rubbing you get prior to the cmc.

You get a fair amount depending on your alignment. My buddy did it on his and drove with no CMC for months. Didn’t cause damages to the tires but was awefully annoying when it rubbed on sharp turns. He also never wheeled his truck so idk about articulation.

    ^^ @sdsurfer
I messaged this to Aaron yesterday, on my red truck I didn't know about the CMC when I first lifted it and all that. I ran for 5-6 years before getting a CMC. Never damaged my tires when I had 17x9 wheels and 285/70-17 tires, but it did rub. Only caused some small cutting to the side of the tread when I added spindles (which pushed the already wide wheels out another .75") and ran 33 x 12.5 x 17 mud tires.
The rubbing was bad enough to where pulling in and out of parking spots people would come out to look if I was hitting their car

Yeah... I figured. My 275/70/17s rubbed pretty bad even with a 2.5" lift (mud flaps :anonymous:) until I got the caster adjusted to over 3.0. Was really annoying.
