A dent an touched up the bumper where wife backed into it. She just scratched it all my funds right now gone. Made a local donation to a member since no raffle to win this month an spent the rest on a kayak an stand up paddle board. Planning on getting a rear diff skid soon.

    :annoyed:

Nice! I think I remember reading something about your kayaking experience in the TTC thread:p
Which companies make diff skids? A while back, it seemed like boztec was one of the few that made them, and they were always out of stock when I was looking at them

Rci metalworks looks like a solid piece.
Ya my kayak experience has had its moments but I’ve always wanted one an Belton Lake is 8 min from the house. Here’s also the damage to the VW from my rear bumper.

    That's wayyy nice!

It'll come in handy for sure if you live that close to the lake.
Poor vw doesn't look like it faired too well against the bumper..

Did you paint your bumper or did it come powdercoated?

No sir, just been living in the driveway.. Might need a new clutch pretty soon, didn't want to go into gear whenever I tried moving it the other day. Could just be the clutch master cylinder though, I still need to replace that. Have all the parts, just haven't had the time. May try doing that this weekend.

At least now it'll be a piece of cake to touch up! I think you made the right move just painting it yourself!

Havent ordered one yet.. hoping the master cylinder solves the clutch release height issue.. It's been leaking in the cab, so I know it's on it's way out..

If I do need a clutch, im thinking ill go with this one from LCE. Rated for 385hp so if I ever turbo the turtle or put a s/c on it, I wont have to upgrade again

Once you start wheeling it hard and dragging that ass, you'll be glad you can just touch it all up with ease :D
