I did some searching, nothing came up.

Currently, I have the 16” Tacoma pro wheels on my truck (3rd gen ones), and I love the design and specs, but I’m sick of black. Everyone has black.
I’m toying with the idea of having them powdered in a anthracite or silver color.
Has any of you seen this done yet?

there was a pic of someone who coated his in white, on a white truck iirc. seen a few coated wheels of various colors around here. some good some not. you'll probably have to search and browse for a while to find them.

I had my OEM wheels on my RX-8 powder coated rootbeer bronze and it looked fantastic. Find a reputable powdercoater and go nuts. I highly recommend the Wheel Doctor near Cincinnati, Ohio. (Not affiliated with him, but have seen excellent results - multiple times)

Not sure what color you are thinking, but I like a bronze color with my black/white setup. Good luck.

I actually have a friend that owns a wheel repair franchise in md, he powders a lot of dumb stuff for me.

My truck is barecelona red, so graphite or silver has an appeal.

I’ll do some more searching, I know someone has to of done it.

I've always wondered what the process for powder coating wheels you are currently running would look like.

Set your trucks on blocks in the garage, take another vehicle to the tire store, remove existing tires. Take to Powdercoater, wait a couple days. Pick up wheels, take to tire store with tires and have them re-mounted, drive home and re-mount, stop asking for rides.

You're out whatever you paid to have powdercoated and whatever it costs to unmount and mount the tires. Plus all the hassle. I just can't see how it wouldn't be more beneficial to buy something in a color you want, then sell your existing. You would have to be money ahead, right?

I wouldn't change the color, unless it was to matte black.

I definitely see your point. For me to have them powdered- its 125 per wheel finished. Granted, i wouldnt have my truck for a few days so there is that.

Personally I’d buy the FN FX wheels pictured and sell the Toyota wheels. Unless of course the new finish is gonna be free.

I would, but I just dont like the sema wheels. I like 16's, and the style of these.
