not really, I mean there were TWO in the relationship and from him, it looks as if it was all rosey. Twenty years of frustration can add up. There is something else going on here.

this is the exact reason I have an issue trusting people I become in relationships with. I want to get married, but anymore I am sooo scared of getting where I want and something like this happening...Pure shitty! Sorry to hear it man.

Yeah, I hear ya.... and I'm not doubting any one person. Just looking at it from what information that's been given us on here.

Hank had mentioned there was a 'family fall-out' due to him & Jenny? What's the story behind that?

The kids are in Texas with his sister for 2-3 weeks. Did the kids go to texas before all this went down? Seems kinda odd to send your kids off to see relatives for that long? I dunno.....

And not to mention - Hank only has 12 total posts. Do you really open your personal life in a forum that you only have 12 posts on?

Whatever is really going on, we're certainly not gonna hear the true story.

Then you should just hide underneath a rock and never come out.

Dude, life is gonna pass you by and one day you're gonna wake up and realize what you've missed because you're too scared - and it'll be too late.

....the title says "you all are the only people around"....lets not make this a haters thread people. Go to the 20" chrome rims for $800 for that. Life happens...IRRC, there isnt a minimum post count to ask for advice or support.

Agreed and lol @ the 20" chrome rims comment.

To an extent you have to trust what people say to be true. Let's say that I didn't believe this cat. I start bashing him and talking smack. But what do ya know his story is true and I've added to his already tough situation by being negative. It doesn't help him. I think it kind of goes back to the golden rule. Of course there's 2 sides to the story but he's not asking us to analyze his 20 year marriage and tell him where he went wrong. He's asking for advice on what to do now.

Why do some of you have to be such a negative Nancy? He has been responding to posts in his thread. If you don't have something nice to say, get out. If later it happens to come to light that this is a joke, then you can come talk.

Some of you have really been making TW a not so great place lately.

Sorry to hear about all of this man. There's not a whole lot more advice that I could add to what's already been said:

    *Talk to counselor/family/pastor
    *Make sure kids are safe
*Isolate yourself from her through all of your shared finances (this includes insurance)
    *Get a GREAT lawyer

You might hear from her in a few days or a week. Be strong and do what's in the best interest of you and your kids, not her. She's chosen to remove herself from your lives and healing that type of wound will take time for everyone involved. Keep your faith, don't concern yourself with "why?" right now and you'll make it through.

It goes both ways..... and if you go back and read the posts, there's been a lot of 'women' bashing also. This situation DOES NOT represent what all women are about. And if you notice - NOT once did he (Atticus951) talk negatively about her. Everyone else put her in the doghouse.

im not gonna jump on the 12 posts bandwagon. if it is just a joke, what is the ten mins it took to read the thread and the effort of one or two posts for someone compared to the support those posts may give if it is true.

i believe you man, even though it is a shitty deal your in. get your priorities in order, then work on closure if you wish.

    Best of luck,

I have read all of them. They are woman bashing due to the woman leaving the family. If it was the man I would hope and expect man bashing.

I do agree that it obviously doesn't represent all women. If it did there would be no marriage. And men are the cheaters most of the time In my opinion.

He said this was the woman of his life. That said, I'm sure he's too busy feeling sick to his stomach and confused to talk negatively about her.

Oh and sorry janster. By negative "Nancy" I wasn't specifically refering to you or just women here.

Really? I mean really? Need I have a certain number of posts before I ask for support for the most difficult situation I have ever been thru? Need I meet a minimum requirments to gain advice? Please by all means if I dont have enough posts to ask for life advice then a mod go ahead and delete my thread. Thanks rob

Update: I went to the bank had the accounts frozen and got the copies of the deposits. Talked to my attorney. Will be meeting with him this afternoon. Talked to my sister. I'm gonna get all this in order before I bring them back. I figure if I have a plan itll be better than them coming back to uncertainity. Thanks to all the good will and support MOST of you all have shown.

No no no don't let this keep you from living. Dont let anything keep you from living. I had 20 wonderful years I wouldnt trade for anything. It just happened to end like this. Find yourself someone and stick with them. Make it work. I promise youll find more satisfaction than can be imagined.
