Ya Fuck that. I paid 41k for my 18 pro. Mind boggling that someone will actually pay that much.

 

For a midsize truck!!! And let's be honest it'll hold better resale but its not a collectors item.

Obviously the new Voodoo Blue paint is made from Blue Morpho Butterfly-wing scales. Thus the exorbitant price.

That's the Colorado tax these days. I contacted a local dealer about a hail repaired '18 Pro they had on their lot a few months ago, still marked up $8k over MSRP. I thought the dealers were out of their minds with the prices they were quoting me, but the consumers are the ones that have lost it. They keep buying at these inflated prices here. The dealer I bought my truck from told me Pros were selling for up to $15k over MSRP in July.

Was it a Calvary blue? I posted 1 a couple weeks ago and it was Hail repaired , hood misaligned was 5-8 marked up I think .

 

someone did a mistype... their website says "MSRP 46658 Dealer Handling Fee $499 clearway Price $57,157" with is exactly 10k off maybe they hit 5 instead of 4 maybe?

 

That looks like the one. They quoted me $52,3 in August.

 

I thought that they didn't special order and only allocated? Did that change?

 

I bought my 18 Pro out of state for 39K (private party, slightly used) a few months ago. Then I got home and had to fork over 4300 to the CO DMV for TTL. That HURT. 8.8% plus owner tax.

 

Nothing changed, dealers can adjust the vehicles they already have allocated. That’s all they did, which is basically the same thing really.

 

Damn.. I would love to have that new blue pro, but I can’t justify those mark ups. (Plus I cant afford it). I’ll just grab a lotto ticket and maybe I’ll change my mind.

 

I read that part. To me, it sounded like he was saying the Tacoma wasn't really good on long road trips. That's why I posted my example.

I guess... when I special ordered my wrx they configured it the way I wanted then gave me a vehicle order number . Gave me an approximate date then it showed a week early . I could also check on it and see if it was off the boat . With my tacoma it was late and when I called they said "we're trying" ( I didn't bug them or call frequently) and when they called they were trying to put me in something close or the wrong color .

I picked up my 2019 VooDoo Blue Pro last week. I paid MSRP minus 500 for the graphics pack I complained about. I gave them a deposit August 6. I love the JBL and sunroof!
