As silly as it sounds, if driving slow(er) isn't an option, using Waze might help. We have all bunch of speed (including mobile set ups in school zones) and Red light cameras all over NY. Most are reported on Waze.

Gotta love Waze. Couldn't agree more on the driving slower. 65% of my daily commute is on a 4 lane divided highway were the speed is reduced to 55 mph. I believe that 55 is just a suggestion now as I set my cruise to 60 and still almost get run over.

My truck can barely go the speed limit on tge highway. If these are fixed people will learn where they are and will slow down. If its used to calculate average speed then that sucks. But I agree with them having them in construction zones at least.

The construction thing.Just seen someone complaining about the slowing in construction zone. I had an idea for a PSA. "When you get to work are safe and relaxed?" Then why does the Road worker need to be worried about you running him over when you are getting to work,HE IS AT WORK ALREADY.

The app tells you of traffic, cops, accidents, road hazards, construction, etc. It is user based so all of the alerts are inputted by other WAZE users.

Download it. Its a great app. It saved me from a couple of speeding tickets on the turnpike.

That truck has more new parts on it then most of the tacos in Pa. I think you are just replacing parts as they get dirty Now.

Looks like a lot of work ahead of you, but if you get it done it would be sweet as hell. I have a early 90's 4 runner locally for sale. They want 3K. Body has a little rust, but pretty damn solid. Interior is imaculate. It is the V6 though, and I've heard horror stories about those with 100,000 and the headgaskets. It has 114,000. I wanted it for a DD, but I am thinking it would be a sweet project as well. Either i get into that project or finish building the truck the way i want it.
