    Attempting to get a hold of a Sport hood for my OR. Looked into buying a hood from the dealer in which they told me I couldn’t buy it since I have an OR and not the sport.. I know the RK sport hood has a functional scoop.

    Anybody have an RK hood and any opinions on it? I’m really going for looks more than the functionality of a scoop.

    A few additions to make me feel cool.
    Man, you need a new dealer. You might want to look for one in a salvage yard or something from a truck that has been rear-ended in your color. If you get the part # for the scooped hood you should be able to order it from any dealer, none of there business what model you have or what you plan to do with the hood. Tell them you are hanging it on your wall as art.

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    Now that is one dumb person you spoke with.

    If that was in the parts department, they should be fired for losing their employer business.

    If it was a salesman, he just wanted to sell you another truck. With a scoop.

    You should be able to walk in and buy any part you want. Even if you don't own a truck. Why would they care?

    I have one, an RK Sport. It fits great, took minimal work to paint/install.. other than the windshield squirters.. those were a realll dick slapper.

    I like it. Only thing I'm not liking is the metal grille. Wished they would've made an OEM style insert.
