He got more talent in photo chopping than me. I might get him on the cook though.

Works been crazy, flip the switch on go live this weekend and entering a stretch of hell weeks. And lead up has been bad enough. But it is hunting season! So leaving for the North Shore of Lake Superior Oct. 21 to hunt the ruffled grouses for a couple of weeks, at least that is the plan.

So doubt be able to play but you can bet I will be watching here for all the pictures when I get internet :D Guess I need to start getting some things ready for the cabin. Several bottles of Jameson Black Barrel. Should put some food on the list too...

That would require plucking them, birds dry out too much if you skin them and try to smoke them. But the thought has crossed my mind more than once. And have plucked my share of birds. Will be eating a lot of grouse though. But most evenings will be seared steak. And Jameson. Once the dogs are taken care of the guns put up.

With my group of friends, I have to make absolutely certain that they have put up the guns. And the ammo. And the other guns. Then I have to contend with far worse than Irish whiskey. Like No. 7 times worse. It’s kinda like being a babysitter. That’s why I don’t go out so much any more.

Dammit now I want to go duck hunting by myself. Without people. And probably take a nap.

    I’m old.

Ya when I last hunted anything seriously I determined I didn’t really trust many of my friends with guns in the woods. :)

Got all that above. Had to make sure I had freezer space. I can go back tomorrow for 2 more...

I just went to costco for Paper towels and Fish Oil...

But couldn't pass it up. The left brisket is 18 or 20 pounds too... I usually don't go over 15 as it's usually just more fat you're paying for. But that one caught my eye...

I’ll ask the next time I talk to the manager. We have a conversation every time I go in. I always recommend they get prime packers..

@Misplaced Nebraskan what are they getting for a 1.75L in your area?
The price difference is totally worth the drive to Costco in Omaha vs Sam's on this side of the river
