The other lake meet was at Horseshoe Trail I believe off Boathouse Drive in Grapevine

Did you ever get feedback from this? Just dropped mine off at north Texas powder coat in keller. Hes doing a front bumper, brackets, and sandblasting for $80. Its so cheap I'm a bit sketchy of it. Cause some have quoted up to $300

My sliders just came in earlier this week. I planned to paint them, but got a couple of powder coating quotes for the hell of it. I was getting $500-600. I’d be skeptical on the quality of $80

 

I line-x’d mine (and a grille guard) for $300, fwiw.

 

How’s that look? I’d like to have a little texture on them, but not overkill. The added durability over paint is definitely a plus

 

Depends on use.

I sold those and went with powder on this set. Touch up is easier after rock rash, and it doesn’t tear up legs. Women appreciate it.

 

Paid off the truck tonight. Was either stick the cash in savings or say so-long to that monthly line item in the checking account.

 

I drank a beer tonight and took a few hundred miles off the rear tires probs

 

Just be glad it wasn't 2 trips around the block..car looks good

 

All this talk of front wheel bearings has got me thinking that's likely what' I'm hearing up front on my truck (55k mi). Been telling myself I need to get it up in the air to check out, or at least by somewhere for a look over. Not going to jinx myself before a 10 day road trip though by saying anything more.
