Just cause his bracket won't work, doesn't mean you can't try to figure out your own. It might be the route I go again if I need to. My fab skills have gotten much better since I originally made mine.

Header installed and the balance shafts removed. Bilstien front coil overs. Installed an instrument cluster from a 4cyl 4runner that had a factory tachometer. Polished Western Slot Mags. New cylinder head and new bearings and counter shaft in the trans.
Thanks.... but I changed my mind. I opened it up and everything looks good except the part I broke. I decided I'm gonna fix it. I dont need to drive the truck soon and now I don.t need to pull parts from a wrecking yard truck.

So I found a set of 1999 Limited seats for an extra cab. They're pretty nice, but does anyone know if later plastic parts can't be swapped on? I was told the earlier oak color is a lot different than 2001-2004. I would likely send them out to have recovered in leather

Got my new UG from the recent GB today. Very doubtful but hoping to get trans temp to read somehow like the SGII can. Looks like no one has figured it out yet so if not, no big deal, just happy to have a new one.

In case the coupon goes away (link fails), the Harbor Freight item number is 67181.

I also recommend you get a water/dust filter and a swivel fitting for the airline. That swivel fitting eliminates the "fighting the airline" hassle out of painting on top of things like my shell top. The risk of the line rubbing a painted surface is greatly reduced. Gives you good freedom of movement of your gun.

I got these at Home Depot at combined cost about $20.00. 1/4" "U" for universal fittings.

Oh yeah, I run something like those on all my air tools, anyway. It does make them much easier to get along with.

Also, most people don't realize how hard moisture is on air tools, though it does become quite obvious when you are spraying paint. Oil is way worse in paint, of course.

While we are on the subject of air tools- for impacts and the like, change over to Milton type V fittings. They are about 30% larger ID, which means more airflow- it's like turbocharging your tools.

That's if you get the AL ones. I don't tend to, because I'm not gentle with my tools. They end up getting drug across concrete and scarred up, eventually won't seal right. Brass is my preference.

Also, the Milton Vs are backwards compatible with the typical auto/industrial fittings, so if you have stuff in your shop that isn't running a male Milton V, but a male Auto/industrial, it will still work.

I don’t think those little in-line air filters do much good when it comes to painting. It’s better than nothing, but a dedicated drier and oil separator is much better.

Maybe you can chime in @koditten

I believe that’s the FJ Cruiser emblem.

I have a 1990 4Runner emblem on my truck. I know most people hate Chrome, but I like it in small quantities. Also fulfills that 80's truck look I'm going for.
