Fuck me to tears... I thought only us rednecks from Alabama used the term “grab a handle” and let’s go... I guess there are “good ole boys” everywhere.

Hate to even post this... however I got around to trying the Pittfaced SMM rub. Haven’t cooked with it, most likely never will. WAY TOO sweet for me, but that’s just me. I hate brisket as well, rather have a bologna sandwich. That being said, the first PM gets my Spicy Meat Massage package shipped free. Thanks again for putting this whole thing together.

Nothing wrong with that. Not everyone has the same taste. I know people who if they taste anything at all sweet in things they don’t like it. :)

Very nice of you to offer it up to someone else though.

No worries at all. Thanks for the feedback and, even more, I appreciate you giving us a shot. There is no one-size-fits-all in BBQ rub, I get that. The OGs are probably going to roll their eyes ( ), but I keep inching closer to a savory rub to look at getting commercially produced. I'll have to get you some whenever it's ready to see if it is more your style :).

That's very awesome of you to pay it forward, too! I'll refund your original shipping cost to cover your cost of getting it out to another member. I appreciate you doing that.

I hope, at the very least, you'll still be in the open category for the upcoming contest :D.

Very nice. I've been commissioned to smoke a brisket for a ~25 person gathering for the fight. I suggested wings, though. Seemed like the perfect fight-night food.

But I'm not hosting, just cooking, so brisket it is.

I think we may be doing some wings this weekend. Will start out smoked. Been thinking about a quick fry afterwards to crisp up the skin more. Probably going to do some in PF rub, some in SPG and then some in a buffalo sauce. Love me some wings.

We cover our wings in PF a couple of hours before going on the grill using the Vortex. Then follow up with a parmesan garlic combo once they're nice a crispy.

Everybody's taste buds are different that’s for sure. I gave some to my boss to try. Told him it was on the sweeter side. He came in this week and said he was expecting more sweetness then came out thru the cook on a tri tip. Him and his nephew absolutely loved it. Offered him some of the spicy and he said he will be ordering some to try and some more of the original. Thank you @bvbull200

It was too sweet for me too. I sent the remainder to another TW member. Looks like we are the odd men out though. Wanna start a club? :)

I already squared it away ;). It's a win for all of us involved :D.

Thanks a bunch, @Drtgrl , for spreading the word! Happy to put the buy together and glad so many were able to take advantage! You're right, though, everyone is different.

You're on the savory list, too, when it ever gets produced ;).
