Well, the kids will be driving whatever I get.

Primary thinking: get something I want, so I have a 3rd vehicle I can use if I want. In a year when oldest gets her permit, she can learn on that & then drive it until she’s 18. About that time the youngest will get her permit & repeat (baring no one totaling it lol).

I know some people hate XJs, but I grew up with one and love them. That said we didn’t do heavy off-roading, and I probably will only use it for mild stuff myself.

Odd. I found it on OfferUp, which is where I think @freddy2923 found it.

    https://offerup.com/item/detail/555072854/

but it is also listed a second time on offerup for 1k more. Just would investigate more and look it over in person.

I did indeed find a ride. One of the guys who was originally going to hike with me but is having ankle surgery instead. We're taking the truck and camping at Parker Canyon Lake Sat then he will drop me off Sunday morning at Montezuma Pass and Ill hike back to Parker Canyon. Long day 18-19 miles 3500+ feet AEG guessing a good solid 10-11 hours on the trail

It's nice being able to keep up with only a few pages per day vs 20-30 pages, but then the vibe is way different as well

It has been pretty quiet in here the past couple of days.

    Anything going on?

Truck is going under the knife in about 10 days. I will be truckless for about a week.
