Thanks for that. My shell is aluminum frame and the PO set the truck up for a RTT and awnings. I agree on the weight concern with off camber. I've always kept stuff low, but like the additional storage space and security in the bed with the shell.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I could not agree more. This is where I will be in the not too distant future.

I have enjoyed a bunch of different setups, but this is where it’s at for me form and function wise.
It’s nice to see someone else build up your exact truck how you would do it, prior to the $$$ being spent.

Alu-cab is the Jam! When you see them in person, it’s like that night after prom when your girl is like...oh yeah!

I'd love to have an Alu-Cab. My budget made them unrealistic for me currently. My hope is by the time they are in my budget that they will have developed a fold down front glass. Not having that feature on a semi-permanent hard shell is a no go for me.

Yup, I'm trying to convince the lady that the Alucab is worth the extra coin. For me it's the 33 second set up time and all bedding stay in the popup. She likes the idea of the huge bed in the XL RTT's, but she won't be doing set up.

If it's down to $2K vs. $3200 for an Alucab, I'll push harder.

The full Alucab box isn't necessary for me, but it's dang cool!

Hey bro, I may be wanting those springs. I am not sure if they will give me more lift than I need or exactly what I need.
I am headed to NC this week and will be in touch. I am debating on the Icon Progressive set, as they may be more in line with the suspension that’s on my taco pro. I need to find out more about spring rates.

I’ve done it, I’ve been taking 80 to Macon, and then fall line hwy to wrens. Literally no traffic but really not much of a difference in distance in either
