    finally after almost two years of trolling around here driving a wrx, i can finally make a post as an almost tacoma owner. just put a deposit down on a 2010 trd sport dc short bed in white! i also got the skid plate, roof rack, bed extender and bed mat. carlos tells me it should be ready for me next week. super excited.

    ummm im from northern nj. have some property upstate ny. i like hunting rifle/shotgun/bow. ive got a bunch of quads/snowmobiles/tractors. i play drums in a local band. so the tacoma was kind of a no brainer.

    hopefully ill be taking the truck down to nc in a few weeks. any recommendations on a nice decently priced soft/fold up waterproof cover?

    Congrats on the new truck dude! And don't forget pics! Similar to you, I recently got me a 2010 Sport DC/SB, but in black. I hear you on the practicality factor of the WRX, which is why I too ended up getting a Taco. I really wanted an STi...maybe in the future I'll be able to get my hands on one. What kind of bad attention were you getting with your WRX anyway?

    bad attention came from to law mostly. and some disapproving neighbors. i get pulled over a lot for stupid things... a dealer license plate frame for example. a tail light out. because my car is loud lowered and black they are always tryin to catch me ridin dirty. and the neighbors stare me down. they really hate the noise. i can understand i guess. its a quiet neighborhood and my car is LOUD! it was fun when i was younger. i still love the car but am kinda growing out of it.
