I have 12K on my 4runner installed 14ish months, no issues.

I have 6-7K on my GX470 about 6 months on this set and again ZERO noise or issues.

The Delta Joint will be the industry standard very soon especially for those outside of the Southwest.

Do you need the tapered shim to press in the delta joint? Planning on doing next weekend and want to make sure I have everything.

Only if you have the billet UCA's.

I pressed a set of retro DJ's into a set of TC arms last weekend. Get the adapter or build your own to install the DJ's into the NON Icon arms.

Just confirmed with ICON today. You don't need a tapered shim for the tubular UCAs. So are you saying a normal press wouldn't work with the delta ball joints?

it'll work. they make a tool since the delta is one piece instead of the uniball with bolt though it. going to need that. or can use the big c-frame press and do it on the truck.

I've been thinking about Delta's. The balls are noisy. I had the caps on but dirt/dust would get under the cap by going up through/around the ball. It was noisy as sounded horrible so I keep the caps off and clean them regularly.

I have mine sitting Brand New in the box in the basement with new Front and Rear Extended Travel Kings. Maybe I can give a Spring Time evaluation.

100% unless you want to go through 3 more SPC revisions to match the strength of the DJ.

You can double the miles from that quote and still silent with oil change interval grease applications.

FYI they now sell replacements for Camburg and TC arms but it's cheaper and easier to just buy the Icon arms with them installed.

Wonder if they would work in the TC LCAs too?

Installed the Delta Joints a few weeks ago and so far so good. I’ll update after a few months and some wheeling sessions
