Some are better than others at creating relationships and ultimately, that's what Starbucks has used to grow (the drinks are the byproduct to keep customers coming back). Everything is measured out specifically and timed to a "T", though, but you can BET they pour that cold brew with love! I'm beginning to learn the regulars' names and orders and I like making someone forget about the shit they're about to walk into... even if just for a few minutes. Know this: baristas do not favor orders that come in paragraph form. Also, don't ask for a "1/4 splenda packet" or "2 drops of honey".

My store is supposed to be getting nitro in a few weeks and it's my favorite!

Yes, we know. But Luling is NOT the official BBQ Capital of Texas. So, City Market is inherently inferior (but not to Blacks). And actually, since all these OLD BBQ folks had kids that grew up doing it - now you have to add ANYWHERE IN CENTRAL TEXAS is some pitmasters kid doing good stuff! But, this was PIZZA!
