Damn, man, you might be on to something here. This sounds a lot easier than that elusive deer I've been waiting for.

For the record I did not use insurance for any of this lol and it was all accidental actually. But I wasn't about to pay pretty much the same amount to put stock bumpers back on.

What is wrong with using insurance if the damage is covered under your policy?

Well nothing other than rates going up, I just was saying my damage really was accidental because I joked that a tree jumped out at me. Purposely causing an accident to get an insurance payout would obviously be insurance fraud. That's all I was saying.

Anyone know of a winter storage location for a vehicle

I keep running into angry codgers that I don’t exactly trust my taco with.

I have a friend with a few pole barns in Owatonna which he stores people's vehicles in. They are just pole barns though, sheltered and out of the weather but there's always a chance of rodents, and dirt. I think he said $1 per linear foot per month.

My family uses the county fairgrounds, they rent out space in the unused 4-H barns over the winter. I think our drop off day is November 27th this year. Some barns are dirt floor and others are completely secure with a cement floor and everything, but you get to choose. We have never had any problems with rodents getting into our cars. I've seen lots of classic muscle cars kept in there too. Only drawback is that you have only a few specific days in the spring you are allowed to go and get it out for the summer.

k, I did it. It's a pretty quick and dirty video. But it was kind of neat going through the footage this late, as it made me really miss the trip. The trails were easy, but absolutely gorgeous scenery. Most of this was recorded from a single day and doesn't really capture all that we did, but it gives you an idea.

It's not on the video, but this short trail leads to Tongue River, which provides some amazing, secluded camping. It's pretty rocky though, and you'll scratch up those sexy SEMA wheels like I did, but it's worth it.

The middle part of my video is Woodchuck Pass, which has amazing views and is pretty popular.

The last part of the video was Shell Reservoir, which is a must-see.

The southeast section of Shell is supposedly some of the toughest trails in Bighorn, but we didn't get around to doing it. It's think the trail is called Boulder-something. It's not mapped on Google.

During the trip we also did a bunch of BLM land and went northwest to see Devil Canyon. It's very much a desert, but still gorgeous in its own way.

As fellow MN residents, how does this truck do in the snow? ive been driving 4x4 trucks, all wheel drive cars (pre-1990) and rearwheel drive cars my whole life, all of them have been no traction control no stability control cars/trucks.

My last car was a 2008 rav4, its traction control would let out a loud beeping when it would start to slide... please tell me this truck doesnt do that.

Should I grab my sandbags out of the garage?
