I just can't imagine anyone paying $200 and up for an aftermarket wheel with a 7" width, most don't even make one that narrow anymore.

Why pay that for an OEM wheel? I bought OEM takeoffs WITH TIRES for less on both an Audi and a VW.

Matte are 17 inches and from the 4runner. Stick out 1 inch from stock.

Gloss are 16 inches from the Pro Tacoma. Stick out 1/2 an inch from stock.

These aren't often taken off. And they fetch more.

With lots of aftermarket, you've got to be careful with quality. I remember people buying pro comps years ago and never being able to balance them. I would hope with OEM those issues aren't as common. But that's not a guarantee.

Thats a little too generous for the assessment on “poke”.

More like T4R Pros poke out 1/4” and Tacoma Pros are 1/8” inside fender... IIRC.

Mine were definitely wider, but I didn't measure. I remembered reading that on here from another member, so it's possible it's not accurate.

Definitely wider but not sure the wheels actually poke out (if any). I remember them being ever so slightly tucked in for the taco pro and maybe about flush for the 4r pro. Tire could make it poke out, tho.

The 17" wheels sit out about 1/2 inch wider than stock 16 wheels. They work perfect for the skinnies tire and wheels have held up well for me even with some off-roading. However, I know if they do meet a rock, they will scratch and it will be more apparent than a silver wheel.

I have a before picture. I'll try to duplicate the after tonight when I get home. I used the same tires so everything else is equal. From the pictures I could see, it's definitely out further towards the fender. How much, I'm not sure.

Oh... I think I know what you mean now. You meant wider in width than the stock wheels. I was meaning offset / sticking out from the fender in general.

They are all 7” wide, but the TRD PRO wheels have a more aggressive offset (more into the negative offset), which makes them poke out further.

Quality is what I am looking for. Short of spending and arm and a leg, I have yet to find a wheel that will be better on any car, not just Toyota. I KNOW it will fit, not rub and have the correct offset. I don’t care about width on a daily driven truck that the idea is to run inexpensively. I can even run the current tires I have, so another positive. Also, I can see the wheel, KNOW they are from Toyota and skip the cost of shipping.

I’m liking the eBay idea as long as they are truly Toyota wheels. I bought a couple things that were advertised as OEM that were hardly OEM when i got them

I thought the Taco Pro stick out 1/2" extra per side as the Specs for the Pro are a total of 1" wider track width.

    I know there is a glossy 16" and a matte 17" .

The glossy I keep seeing on 2017 TRD Pro

Same wheels here. Live on a gravel road. I haven’t seen any dings or scratches yet in 33,xxx miles

Correct. I noticed when I swapped my stock OR wheels for Pros. It definitely is wider than stock

Yes. Because of the offset but not because of the wheels being wider. They dont stick past the fenders though.

Hopefully Im making sense to you.
