In hindsight probably would have made for a better 1 night backpack especially since were down in the area sat night anyway then do two 10 mile stretches but honestly made me a bit sketched out that close to the border solo camping. Glad we're just taking 1 car and my buddy will be nursing his bad ankle hanging out at Parker Canyon Lake all day. He can drive home while I pass out

Azta membership kit made it just in time aka it's probably been sitting in a mailbox I'm too lazy to check for 3 weeks.

Any solid cooler suggestions that are not Yeti priced? Looking for something in the 30qt range that I can stash in the truck while out on the AZT. Dont need anything super big, just enough to keep some drinks cold and possibly food for 1-2 nights for truck camping. Bear proof and capable of being locked is a plus

Kinda thinking this Pelican Elite or even just going super cheap with coleman extreme

I do need to finish the interior of that. I also got a suspension issue up front that I gotta work on. Either way it's still able to drive.

We have a Pelican cooler and it wasn't cheap but it doe the job really well. Took it to Country Thunder last year and it held ice for 4 days outside. The Yeti we have is 'meh' IMO. It's better than a $20 Coleman but I wouldn't spend much on it.
