I woke up right before the kisses haha. Probably just gonna stay in bed all day.

 

for the people with outside cats, what do you do for their "cat houses" ?

 

We've got a cedar box I knocked together with some old carpet glued to all of the walls and an old fleece blanket inside that we keep in the woodshed. It's six-sided so it's totally enclosed, with a flap of the carpet over the little door I cut in it, so it's pretty well insulated. He mostly just uses it during the summer, though; during the winter he's usually more than happy to come running when we call for him before we go to bed. But it's there if he needs it, and since it's in the woodshed it's out of the wind and weather

 

I do have some rigid insulation I can make a box for her. I may need to put a heat pad

Where I live, if I had outside cats their house would be inside a coyotes belly. Needless- mine are in unless being closely supervised.

I'm not sure if it'd really be necessary; if they're out of the wind and in a small insulated space a cat shouldn't have any trouble keeping warm. But, if you want it to be luxurious...

 

Thanks. He's my guy. He would sit under the bird feeder and cry-because he couldn't get any birds.
He goes everywhere with me. Here's the deer we got last year and him running into a herd of otters (4, a mother and 3 young...not very friendly critters).

 

That's awesome! I wish mine would do stuff like that but she's a princess and doesn't do outside.

 

I still like the color of the darker orange cat. I havent seen that color before, very unique.
