Mine's a 2WD. I live on the coast in NC where there's no terrain and never thought I'd have a desire for 4WD. I didn't consider beach driving. Now I really want a 4x4 so I can ride on the beach for fishing and camping. Also would be nice to drive west to the mountains and explore some trails. Can't figure out why it's so difficult to sell...unless it's because it's a 2WD.

 

How long have you had it for sale? I feel the same way about mine. Its on craigslist and here and i had it parked on the side of the highway. I figured it would sell in like a week but knuckle heads just keep calling me offering stupid amounts like 20-25k.

 

Over a month. Best offer I got was $18K, just couldn't let it go for that much. I already feel like it's priced to sell at $19. Actually had someone offer me $14,500 for it, ridiculous. It's on CL, Letgo, Facebook and here. I don't get the lack of interest. My favorite part is people on Letgo who say "are you still selling it" and then never respond again after I say "yes". I should put a for sale sign on it though, that wouldn't hurt.

 

Best offer I got was a dealership in town contacted me and said they would buy it for 26K and that was the day I put it up for sale. I don't get the lack of interest either. Glad to know I'm not the only one.

 

I attribute it to the 2WD and to being in a not very populated area.

Yeah, I did. My wife and I just bought a house several months back in preparation for the new baby. It's probably even closer to him if not the same distance now as my old place by the vet was. Never figured I would meet you on a Tacoma forum, definitely a small world haha.
