TSB-0125-18 is said to have have the same software. No CUW files have been attached to prove it, but the TSB says that your will have 04B13 when done.

OK thanks. I hope this goes well. I have very little patience for bullshit especially when it comes to my truck.

Agreed. I felt that my dealer would have applied the TSB-0058-18 update if I asked them, but like you, I didn't even want to waste the time explaining and just borrowed a Tactrix cable.

I believe I was the first in this thread to get 25-18 done. See post #1918. I can't confirm that it has actually been updated with a hookup to TS, however I can tell you that it feels and drives much better than when I brought it in.

I can verify. Felt awesome at first. Very little throttle pressure when first installed. Now I have to press harder all over again. Still satisfied though.

I'll look for one, for now I can just tell you that it is for engine idle fluctuating when turning the steering wheel. The fix applies to all V6 engines and 6ATs and 6MTs. It has the 04B13 update in it and the corresponding file for 2018+ trucks too.

Mine is a 17 MT-6, but I already have the update to 04B13 and it still does it.

Seems like the new TSB is there to give the dealership a reason to flash MT trucks...lol. All vehicles surge when you turn the wheel, it's to power the power steering pump... lol

I guess the the update only minimizes this. But I would agree with. Check page 99 post #1962 for the TSB .pdf@SContiVT , the power steering pump is leeching some engine power which is normal to some degree, and gives the dealer few reasons to not perform the new update.

yes, makes sense. Can't argue with that.

Dealership won’t do it for my truck unless I pay because I’m at 39.5k miles and this is only covered under 3y/36k warranty. Sucks :( I’ve complained about this since day 1, even took it in for the problem and confirmed it by technicians a long time ago, and now there is finally a fix and they want me to cough up more $ for a problem that should have already been taken care of.

Read the part in the Red box. They just don't understand or don't want to do the work.

Wait a minute. The ECU is not covered under the powertrain (60mo / 60,000mi) and / or emissions warranty (96mo / 80,000mi)? I find that really suspect.

Also, if you noted a problem while in warranty and it was documented (check your old service receipts), then they should cover it.
