    Thanks bud...It was easier when I was in my 20s, but then I moved to Colorado as a 30 year old bachelor and packed on a few pounds between all the wonderful craft beer and lack of a woman to make me a god damn sammich. I’m content with where I am and I found a simple approach that was effective for me. I’m a lot more conscious about what I put into my body, and how to balance intake with calorie burn.

    Got on the bike today. Felt great! Even though it was not a really long ride I took the camelback with me and stayed well-hydrated.


    The weather looks good for the AM so I’m gonna shoot for 25miles tomorrow.

    Bonnie made these chocolate peanut butter fat bombs this evening. They were amazing.

    I’m going to take a shot at making bacon & egg fat bombs tomorrow.

    Yeah, I’m about 6 weeks into this and use Carb Manager to track. I feel great, down 16 lbs and eating well. I jumped off the plan for a three day canoe race but even then chose low carb energy bars etc. and was surprised my body reacted well to fruit, oatmeal and pasta...I was afraid I might have problems. I’m planning on staying on Keto for another 4 weeks and then back to a more carb-aware lifestyle. I’m astounded by the presence and amount of processed sugar in nearly everything!

    I did this after my first child was born and i went from 235 to 215 ( I am 6'3). I followed the 4 hour diet and was tired of it by the end.

    Well low and behold daughter two came and i jumped back up to 228. This morning I weighed in at 211. I am not following the keto diet this round but I am eating better carbs. Steel Cut Oats, beans, quinoa, brown rice and so on none of that white shit. Lots of fruits and veggies and strict portions sizes of protein and carbs. Now I just need the baby to settle in a little so I can get some exercise.

    Been going since Jan of this year and today was a weigh in day for me. Lost 1.5 pounds and 14 away from my goal weight. Definitely works.

    Does salt intake affect keto diet? I am looking into starting this since some of my friends albeit a lot bigger have had good success. Just looking to drop 15 lbs. I can eat cheese and boiled eggs all day but my nemesis is salt. Boiled eggs and soy sauce would be my go to haha.
