Yup, I worked for a pretty good size Caddy junkyard for a few yrs before I started working as a mechanic at a performance shop. Specialized in 50s & up and he had so much inventory. It was called Cadillac King, main location in Pacoima & storage location in Lancaster. Not sure if he's still in business. Another one I remember was Cadillacs Only. There were 2 more but I forget their names.

 

somewhere there's a support group for former disco era pimps where old Caddy's convene by the dozens... @BartMaster1234 that's where you need to be with your tools ready

wait until you call and find out what they charge for the horns though...they might not be all that affordable if they specialize in old hard to find caddy parts

850 is kinda steep. But they are expensive new and if its as ingood a quality as it looks then I would say yea.

Oh looks like they moved down the street. They used to be on San Fernando Rd. When I worked there. Just a heads up, the owner can be ass sometimes & when he is prices are not cheap. I didn't tell you that though. Lol

No idea if George still works the counter but when I passed by some yrs ago he still was. Ask for him & if he's still there tell him Will, the asian dude with the black Integra that used to work there referred you. He should still remember me.

 

I might just leave it on the 5-lug, and call it the company car.

I searched for 'horn' on that Caddy website and only one showed up for $997

 

Used Caddy parts prices were not cheap back when I worked there. He used to make a killing on parts. He'd buy cars from old retired people for next to nothing, sell one or 2 parts of the car & already made his money back. But that's how junkyards work.

 

Like a utility bed? Hmm. Not a bad idea.

That bed is gunna be a pain in the ass to put back together.
I think a utility bed is a better option.
