I love how people can quote that something is better without ownership as of yet. Specs don't mean anything until is being proved by consumers :anonymous:

Specs which are facts don't lie. If one has better performance specs than it will perform better, not a difficult concept to grasp, regardless of driving the thing or not. Not sure where you're getting at with your silly quote post there, but sure thing bud.

Plus better payload and towing numbers too than the Tacoma. And it has a fully boxed frame!

They would feel pretty good, especially if it is at lower RPMs.

Missing My Last Tacoma --- Had 11 Toyota trucks in the past and many other Toyota cars too.
I live part time in the USA and Thailand. Thailand has had the new Ranger and new Nissan for a while.

The HiLux rules in Thailand ... but the Ranger is catching on in front of Isuzu and the Colorado is at the bottom of the list.

I just bought a new Honda Jazz (same as Honda Fit) in Thailand and I drove a lot of vehicles for fun including the Ranger and Nissan & HiLux.

The coolest demo drive was a ... Honda Turbo Diesel CRV AWD ... for about $50,000 USD .... lol ... very rare and too expensive for me.

The Ranger was big and I like the Tacoma much better. They were also testing a Ranger-Mini-Raptor there ... a Thai Ford dealer told me.

I did like the Ranger better than the Colorado, Isuzu and Mitsubishi pickups ... but the Tacoma was still the best .. with the HiLux in number 2.

I drove the 2.0 turbo hybrid when I was considering a JL Rubi, torquey and lots of get up and go. My 3.5 Taco on the other hand...but I'll take Toyota build quality anyday over FCA, track bar frame weld failures already on the JLs.

Hp and torque numbers seem pretty good...has more torque than hp which is what a truck should have.

I'm more curious as to when that peak torque comes in at.

Since the ranger is a turbo, does that mean it would be required to run 93 or premium gas?
