    Looks great everyone! I'm constantly on the fence about the pro grille, especially since I don't necessarily dislike the 2018 OR grille... just the chrome surround. I like the pre-TSS Pro grille, but I don't care for the TSS garnish. I know there are some workarounds, but don't really like the idea of messing with the safety features (it was a selling point for getting a 2018 over a leftover 2017) on the premise that the forums say "it seems to work fine" LOL

    Yea I’ve almost bought the pro grille a few times but talked myself out of it because it is all plastic for one which seems cheaper to me and because it sticks out the front of the truck. Not only that but everyone with a 16 or 17 has one because the factory grille was so ugly.

    There's literally threads about guys in southern California buying them in bulk and delivering the Pro grilles to people. If you want to be different, keep the 18 grille.

    I think the Pro grille is obnoxious the way it sticks out. Half the letters on the cheap grilles ive seen don't look like the same size, or they don't line up, I can't tell what's going on with them. You can definitely see they're cheap. That stuff isn't going on my truck.

    Son of a.... I literally just got an email from them telling me there's a national backorder for 52 surrounds and they have no idea when they'll get more. I canceled my order for the time being. I think I may just end spraying this thing down with some black paint for now. May swing past my dealer to see if they have one they'll sell me, not holding my breathe though.

    This is where I had ordered it from however.

    That sucks. As a heads up, my shipping was that much, then I added my work address and it dropped to like $10. Keep that in mind for future purchases

    That looks awesome... I'm one of the few also that prefers the 18 OR Grill as is! :thumbsup: From what I've looked at it, it seems you take the whole grill assembly off the front (disconnecting TSS), separate the frame, bezel and grill, then put everything back together with the black bezel. Did I miss anything?

    That's exactly right. Watch a few videos while you wait for it to arrive. It's mostly for pro grilles, but it helps. When you have it off. You'll see tons of screws on the back. You only need to remove the ones that go to the chrome Bezel. It'll make sense when you see it. Take pliers and push the chrome tabs through the grill one at a time, slowly. It'll come right out. Then pop the new one in. 20 minutes total I'm guessing.

    Goodluck finding one. They were on nationwide backorder when I tried a couple months ago. Hope you have better luck than me. I didn't want to wait and want the pro grill route. This was my first choice though.

    simple. if you plan on selling the chrome surround or keeping it, just be careful when squeezing the tabs. they break fairly easily.

    i can wait.....think I prefer this route; pro grill will be my backup; thanks for the info. Absolutely love Tacoma World site....information on every option is covered
