I went with the Eibach proctruck lift. Installed at 1k miles. I have almost 4K miles now. My truck has seen the highway and some off roading. I netted about 2.5” lift and cleared 285/75/16 without CMC or plastic trimming. Aligned straight with oem UCAs. Very pleased with the kit.

    Awesome Taco!

If you dont mind me asking...what did you use for the rear? aal, 3-aal....any shims? If so what degree? blocks?

Did you do the EGS Needle bearing? Diff drop?

    Any sag after install?

Was your 2.5" gain with just the coils or did you use the springs clip as well?

0 offset rims with 4.5 BS?

Sorry for all the questions! haha!:annoyed:

But that truck does looks sweet man! Love the rake! Sits awesome!

I used the wheelers single AAL for the rear. No shims or blocks

I did not do the ECGS bearing kit or a diff drop. I havent noticed any signs of the bearing going out.

This was right after I installed the lift but before the wheels and tires. Looks front high, but I’m on a slight incline so weight is shifted back slightly. I didn’t take measurements because I forgot to of course, but it may have settled a 1/2” or so.

Lift is all with the coil. My struts are set at the lowest notch.

Yes 0 offset with 4.5” BS

    Thanks for the compliments bro!

    How about long term??

Mine was installed at 1500 miles and I’m currently at 7k, the front shocks and springs are comparable to OME with Superchargers off-road and are far superior over oem stock bilsteins.

Im about to pull the trigger on the Eibach kit from Wheelers Offroad with a single aal and 1/4" spacer to adjust for lean. Just checking to see if there are any new thoughts on the kit.

It seems comparable to the Headstrong Bilstein kit, which I am also still considering, but the Eibach kit comes in at about $90 less, shipping and all. Dont have the exact $ from Headstrong as they seem to be out of stock at the moment The Eibach kit is $690 shipped.

They can assemble the coils with struts for $90. Is that worth doing for that price?. If this comes pre assembled, will this more or less be a bolt on job, potentially making it easier for a suspension newbie like me to install, likely with some help?

    Cheers!

I would do it! From what I hear it rides softer then Bilsteins and are valved specifically that way.

I have been talking with Kevin @koceguera from Eibach and he has been super cool and very helpful in getting me the details and answering all my inquiries (Thank you again @koceguera for all your assistance bro!)
I'd PM him and ask away!!
I would absolutely have them "pre" assembled for $90 as it does make it way easier....almost just bolt them on! F@#$ messing with the coils with a rented tool of death!:boom:

After doing a lot of research and having run Bilsteins for years ...what the hell, at the price point I really have nothing to lose! I have a suspicion if they ride softer then Bilsteins, plus coils made specifically for the shock and last just as long...I be happy as a pig in shit! I will be purchasing this same set up, except my 1-aal and 1/4 spacer ( sitting in the garage) are from headstrong.

Hurry UP will ya! I need to see those pics and ask you how they ride! DuH!!!!

So seems like ppl are seeing more than the advertised 2 inches of lift on the lowest coil setting?

Go through the thread, there was at least one person reporting about 2.5 inches. it will vary from truck to truck and how accurately ppl are with their measurements. this whole centre of hub to fender leaves room for human accuracy error
