Small dog means smaller bladder means less time away from home.

This guy dogs...my friends with "dogs" always bail earlier than my friends with proper sized dogs.

Plus I have far more damage taken from those little rascals than my friend's great dane and 2 pits. Except the pits have long tails right at "nutsack bullwhip" height.

Dogs are a 15 year average commitment.
The smaller the dog, the longer they live.

Here is what is in store for a prospective dog owner as far as time, money and resources: Training time (they don’t come pre-trained out of the box), dog sitting fees (when we go on vacation it costs us $30 a night for someone to come watch, exercise, stay overnight with Subway), vet bills,( physicals, vaccines, injuries,) food, daily exercise, pickup poop.

People who don’t know what commitment is needed to keep a dog for a pet, usually are the ones that have to give up the dog.

Where do you think the dogs come from at an animal shelter?

From people that don’t have a clue.

    Yeah they’re shitheads alright.

I was on a early morning run through the local woods one morning with Subway. I was in my running “zone” and wasn’t really paying attention to Subway. After I broke from my running trance I realized my dog wasn’t anywhere near me.

I called my wife to wake her up and get the kids up to search for the dog. I asked all my neighbors to help search. We spent almost a hour searching in the woods.

I decided to go home and change out of my running shorts into pants so I could search in the dense brush.

There she was on the front porch, waiting for me.

    Yup. Shithead sounds about right.

dogs are easy to take care of :notsure:

sure theres a lot of training but its not difficult. take your dog on vacations (which for most of us means driving the truck anyways). i always go home after work anyways so maybe thats why that doesnt bother me. get a big dog, little ones are assholes and annoying
