That's what you get for that crooked steering wheel making you drive all cross-eyed.

Well, yes, that is one feature I don't like so much.

It's only twice and a little more what I paid for my 1500.:eek:

I can save 10 grand plus if I don't get the Duramax. I don't know what to do... gas or diesel?

The seatbelt works better than the diesel. Get the diesel. For safety reasons...

When did you buy yours, mine were in the basement for about 8months-1year and shake on the highway 50-70mph. Still need to see if a rebalance will fix it but for now I have been ignoring it. And what did they change?

You can buy a lot of gas for $10k. On the other hand, the diesel will hold its value better. On the 3rd hand, maintenance costs will be correspondingly higher for the diesel. On the 4th hand, instantaneous, monstrous torque. You can pull the earth's skin a little tighter with one of the new diesels.

On the fifth hand, cow piss :frusty::frusty::frusty:

Honestly. I loved my 3500HD. They stuck me in 2 350 superduty and I killed both of them. One hauling up the actual Killington Mtn, and the other froze all the time.

Yeah, the resale is not usually a factor. This is strange that I'm trading in a newer vehicle, I will probably keep a 2500 for 7 to 10 years. What kind of mileage will I get on the highway, unloaded?

Yeah I'm not looking forward to the cow piss thing, but whatever.

Only about every 4000 miles on average, though.

A guy that I work with has a '16 (4 full doors, 6 foot bed) and he claims (claims being very strongly italicized) 22 empty on the highway. I take it with a grain of salt, though, because he also claimed that his old truck (a '10-ish 1500 5.3 that was lifted 6 inches and running 35's) got 18.

Upper teens seems reasonable to expect, though.

Yeah I'm happy with the solution. I was going to never buy them again if they didn't figure it out this time because its just an unnecessary hassle. I'm going to give these another chance and if they don't go bad I will buy again.

I think your solution is the best way to solve the problem. It is silly though, sorta how like if you want to get good lighting on a modern car you need to get the 7k "tech" packages with them. Why can't fleet trucks have the privilege of good light?

Looks real nice, I'd skip the diesel unless you really need it. I know lots of guys who tow lots of heavy farm equipment and work trailers with gassers and have no issues. That said you probably won't regret the diesel either. Love the truck though, the denalis seem to be done very nicely.

Yeah that sounds like what I got. And no matter how many balances they go bad again. I got mine in February? Maybe March? I am guessing yours are part of the discontinued ones.

Oh and I got them from the dealer, but they didn't charge a penny to switch them and rebalance.

Sorry saw this after and didn't answer the first time in my last post.

I got them from the dealer, they called falken. I think you could try discount and if they won't help call falken.

    Yeah
The sad thing is although I tow frequently, it's nothing heavy at all. I will drive the gasser as well tonight and see how I like it.
