What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Hey, I am only getting 15 mpg after putting 285's on so changed gearing to 4:11 fixed the speedo I think but not my mpg.

 

Cleaned up the engine bay in prep for a custom mount for my SPod I'm fabbing up after a $20 trip to lowes. Pictures to come for the mount, probably will finish that tomorrow. 303 is one hell of a drug.

 

It came with my truck, so I'm not sure which brand. When I search for Tacoma bull bar they come up about $160. Only bad thing is that it increases the length of the truck which makes parking in the garage tedious.

 

Dang, that is clean. Nice clean brake fluid, too!

 

I installed these a few years back, love them. I mounted the switches down on the center console as I had run out of room for the factory holes

 

I put some in my 06 DCSB greatest mod ever

 

Got my new (used) ScanGauge in the mail from @EatSleepTacos last night. Looks pretty slick. Surprised how small it is. Still gotta look into programming some of the Xgauges

Not sure where its going to live permanently, but this is the temporary setup for this weekend.

 

Doing anything with the old one? I have been looking for a spare that I might be able to fool around with to see if I could adapt it to use in my 2014.

 

Took off the “Shroud of Turin” and cleaned up the intake runners.

 

I've had this in my bed for a while now but I keep liking it more and more the longer its in there. Just some 2x6 lumber I lag bolted together and painted. But it holds my dog box, or weight over axle for winter, separates bed so groceries stay put in the rear, makes stealing my bed mat annoying

Got quoted on some Nitto Ridge grapplers today, $1100 mounted balanced and out the door. part of me still wants the wildpeaks but the other half wants the RG what do you guys think?

 

I was dead set on the wild peaks. Very happy with the ridge Grapps!

Just got new trd pro rims and bfg ko2 265/70R17
Tinted front at %20 to match rear

 

Bought the truck a new set of legs from Headstrong. Hopefully installed by the end of the month.

 

I forgot all about you having a set of the ridge grapplers! Most of my driving is highway here in WV with occasionally off roading lots of rain and snow in winter months so I think either one would work great which makes it hard to pull the trigger on one lol

 

I've had the Ridge Grapplers for about 10k miles and so far they've been great. They've seen highway, logging roads, gravel and URE offroad park.

 

I'm leaning towards them more every day, either one wildpeak or rg is a phenomenal tire but there's just something about the ridge grapplers!
