I have a set of 5100's with 887's sitting in my garage waiting to go on, but i'm thinking i'm changing out to 885's. I personally feel that there is too much wheel gap with 887's and 265's.

Beautiful truck. Your truck is the one that convinced me to go with 885's.

    885 vs 887 should be 1/4 difference

I went up a full inch between the 885s and the 888s. It may have settled to about 3/4” by now I have not measured it again recently. I’m not sure on the 887s. Did not have them.

So the 888s sit higher? How much of a lift in total from stock? Looks like more than 3"

Ugh so jealous. Tried to cop a set today and the sold out instantly. Trying to decide if Brush Gold will sit well on the cement taco

I got lucky when I bought them, they were available for like 4 days. They are 17s so maybe that’s why.
I think the brush gold will look great but bronze will look better since they will have more contrast. I went with bronze because of how they change depending on the lighting

How was engineer’s pass? I wanted to do that and some other around Ouray on our way up to Moab but they had 550 closed due to a fire. I definitely plan on going back to ride that area.

Yes. Definitely 3” I have a 1/4” top plate spacer and a 1” rear block added to the 888s and the headstrong 3 leaf progressive add a leaf. I wanted the ruck level and didn’t want to cut anything to fit the 285s. And I accomplished that goal. I do have to install the front diff drop to get my cv angles where I want them. You could do it without the diff drop. I will just feel better with them down a little.

It’s a wonderful drive! Depending the time of year, day of the week, traffic can be a bit heavy. I went on a Tuesday in late September, almost no traffic, a very light dusting of snow up top and the trees in peak color transition. Best time I’ve ever had going over Engineer.

    It’s not a Proper photo but it’s a Teaser.

I wish I could see a BBP with the gold ray10s to compare.

Yeah I wanted brushed copper so bad. I mean I would have done horrible things for them. This however is very nice in the way I feel the truck is going.

There’s at least one out there with the brushed copper Ray10s they’d have been my first choice over the gunmetal, but I do love my gunmetal Ray10s as well.
