    A standard epi pickguard might cover that up.

    It's definitely a Bill Lawrence, which are really high quality. I'm not familiar with that type that has the "//////////" on it.
    Older, original Bill Lawrence pickups are made in Germany and also say Bill Lawrence on the back side. Wouldn't hurt to check. I'm kinda curious what the back looks like.

    Also in the "guitarist" thread, thise guys might know alot more about it.

    That is really cool and darn good looking. I used to be pretty involved in the Komen foundation doing web development as a volunteer. My mom was the spokesperson for the Upstate SC affiliate for several years after she beat breast cancer.

    Speaking of fundrasers and fire depts, @JayDub dept has a fundraiser going on the 13th. We went last year and ate some really good Q. Anybody wanna roll up in a Taco convoy and have some good eats?

    Lemme know if you have any more questions. ;)
    We may be wheeling early in the morning... I may have service, if not, I’ll be around a little later. I’ve had the worst and best Toyota buying experiences, I feel like a pro when it comes to the game. The 4Runner shopping was stupid easy and the price was made it even easier.

    You will save A LOT of money by going without KDSS. I had to wait approximately a week or two to get one without KDSS and sunroof. No sunroof, no KDSS, and I’d be firm on no dealer add ons if you’re trying to get the best bang for your buck. My dealer complied and I got the price I wanted. Keep those invoice prices in mind. Don’t let them BS you. They still make money(hold back) when you get that invoice price. ;)

    @4x4Runner has KDSS too.

    @RPS1030 and I didn’t see the need for it. Plus the money saved means more toys for the runner. ;)

    thanks Eric!

    Our annual barbecue fundraiser is next weekend, the 13th. We cook the bbq ourselves the night before using a recipe from one of our members. Proceeds are going towards equipment for a new rescue truck that is being built currently. $10 gets you a plate with bbq, slaw, beans, bread, and a drink.

    Yes, I have KDSS and in White. Test drive them both and see what you prefer. I liked the KDSS, to me it was worth the money and you may notice that it offers better on road manners than a 4R without KDSS.

    The Offroads (former trail editions and trails) come with the locker, manual transfer case (no electronic switch there, but still ADD), multi terrain select and crawl control. Spark plugs are 100k intervals. Oil changes are different too since it went to a filter element at the low front of the engine (requires skid removal) and I can confirm that the 3rd gen Tacoma filter element is about an inch shorter than the 4Runner element (dealer gave me the one for the Tacoma and I had to uber to the dealer to get the right one after I had drained all the oil and pulled the filter).

    Let us know what you think when you test drive them

    Yeah, after two 5th gens there isn’t much haven’t figured out about them.

    I was quite impressed with my 2010 Trail Edition that when I was ready to move on from my post divorce, mid life crisis mobile there wasn’t anything else I would consider, 3rd gen Tacoma wasn’t even a consideration (considering I don’t have a need for a bed...ATM).

    I may have missed it but...what happened in your accident?
