nice. how do you plan to utilize the rack? remove softtop and throw on a RTT when its time to camp?
been eyeing one of his full height bedracks but I can't decide what I want to do with my RTT (made the switch from soft shell to hardshell but still undecided moving forward)

He did it custom for me, but he said it was a pain and he didn’t want to do another. But it never hurts to ask.

I like how it turned out. I like the functionality of the softtop but want the usability of a rack. Was thinking about going to a marine canvas shop and seeing if they can get me a rough quote to make a canvas cover to go on the bedrack (before I order a bedrack). would be nice to have the enclosed storage while being able to mount stuff on it.

Same reason I did this, and I hated the bed racks that go over a soft top. They look ugly and don’t want the stress on my bedsides. I also don’t need a tent to commute 5 days a week so I don’t want to leave it on the rack.

Im choosing not too as well. All the places here in new England that I've called, they've quoted me 900-1300$ for front and rear. I would have felt bad scratching them up at that price. its much easier for me to get them painted by a body shop (400-550$) and touch them up with rattle can as i scrape paint off.
