I am not gonna lie, I like the way they look, I like the power they are clamin, there is a lot to like... There was a lot to like about the ZR2 also... Diesel... Time will tell if it would be an option for me.

Like I said before if the ZR2 had a Manual Transmission option for the Diesel I would be on a different forum right now. Same goes for the Baby Rapter... If it does end up with a Manual Transmission and all that powa... All bets are off!

That is a direct result of ford hyping up the raptor AS IF it actually were a trophy truck. And people really thought you could get that kind of squish out of a production behemoth lol. Also, very funny, and this video has probably saved lives. God bless them.

I’m gonna be real, and give credit where credit is due. I’ve watched a lot of Tacoma videos on YouTube out of pure boredom. No matter how bored I am, I only get about 2 minutes in. It’s usually some neutered house husband fumbling with controls. I’d much rather watch a dude who survives on ramen and Mello Yello in Nebraska huck a ranger over something absurd.

Also, I’d rather party with them.

LMAO. Funny the parallels. You're right always some middle aged dude talking about his lift, tires, mod he did, plasti-dip or a review of the taco.

    Rust is normal.

Falling apart is less than ideal.

    Falling apart starts as rust.

In my mind, this guy is the epitome of what you are describing. Like, is this guy gonna send it? Never.....never ever. He looked a little nervous getting through that 2” snow bank. The western world actually needs Ranger Raptor before the last of the testosterone washes out to sea.

I like the Ford Wildtrax that they have had in Australia for a few years. Looks pretty cool.

If Ford gets the quality control and drivability right on the new Ranger I bet there's is going to be a lot of Tacoma owners jumping ship. Not your die hard Tacoma forum users but your everyday Joe owner that currently hates the way the truck drives due to the poor engine/trans software. I bet most of the general public doesn't know about TSB 0062. So they decide to test drive the Ranger & wow this has bottom end torque & a adjustable drivers seat lol. What's that you say this truck has Apple CarPlay & rear disk brakes, I'm sold.

I will say if the Ranger Raptor comes out I am jumping ship. My Tacoma has been one of the most problematic vehicles I've ever owned. I like the truck but I am tired of visiting the dealer once a month for major problems & not even 40k on the truck. Will the Ranger be trouble free, probably not but I'm willing to take the gamble.

Looks like the intrusion of the new Ford Ranger is bringing our nice dysfunctional TW "family" closer together.....lol
