So I have lately been hearing this weird noise coming from what sounds like the back of my truck(passenger side) when I turn! It sounds like a old door creaking open. I thought it might be either the front or rear differentials or it may need some oil. So I went and had both of them looked at and I went a head and had a grease job while I was at it! But it has not seemed to help! I was wondering if someone can help me before this turns into a serious problem!!

Sounds like your leaf springs and/or front coil springs are making the creaking sound. Try spraying some silicone grease on the springs and see if that goes away.

You can get it at almost any auto parts store, Wal-Mart or hardware store. I would say it'll run you $3-$4/can.

A few additions to make me feel cool.
I agree with the above advise however check your shocks too. I have a 97 and I remember I had a weak shock and it started creaking because it was putting all the stress on the spring.

Well you would probably still need to narrow down further where the sound is coming from.

    getting there....
get someone to kinda push the bed of the truck up and down while you crawl under and see exactly where the noise is coming from. its quite possible its the shocks or leaf springs. sometimes....you gotta spray a good amt. of the silicone spray between each leaf on the springs.
