I don't think so, you need the utility package to get rear seat delete and it looks like you can only get that on the 4cyl.

    I could be wrong.

That is a 4 popper. I'm wanting a V6 like in the above link.

Yeah I did not realize you could even get a V6 in a SR, access cab till I found a few on cars.com yesterday. Hoping I can get one without the munchkin seats.

Yeah I think that is new for this year. You can probably find someone to swap seats for no seats, or just pull them out and build a platform.

Yeah wish I had carpentry skills. I had a '16 SR5, 2.7 access cab with the munchkin seats and I had the dealership take the headrests out before I picked up the truck. I guess I could have them take the seats out. Be nice to buy the truck with the rear seat delete so I could save a little money.

Yes I did. Thinking about buying the SR access cab now that they offer a V6 in it. I may wait for the re-design in 2020. (If this article is correct)

Yes I miss driving a truck. Wish I would of bought a V6 to begin with. I just heard from my sales guy over in Jasper, IN. and he said I can order the truck without the rear seats in the SR, V6, access cab. Had a woman at the Columbus, OH. dealership tell me no I could not. I didn't hold much faith in what she said when she told me Toyota brought out a newly designed V6 this year for the Tacoma's. LOL!

Hm, in my region, you can’t order a V6 with the Utility Pkg.

I wouldnt hold your breath on a redesign, I extremely doubt there will be a redesign 4 years into this design cycle, that is out of the norm for Toyota on any of their platforms.

No I'm not. Starting trying to work out a price/deal on getting a silver SR, V6, 4X2, access cab built without the munchkin seats. (Like the one in the link on my 1st post.) :)

Trying not to get my hopes up. Still owe about 6K on this Honda CR-V. (I may have to cash my funeral plan in.)

Have owned 6 Tacoma's with some random vehicles in between, but learned this the hard way, bought a new Silverado in 2014, traded in my lifted, immaculate 11 Taco, regretted it day after I drove off the lot, 4 months later I sucked up the $6k hit on trade in and picked up my 15 Taco. I often toy with the idea of something different but I know myself now and that hard financial life lesson. Probably drive a Taco till its no longer feasible for me or hate them. Just fits me.

Have you considered trying to find an 18? Probably can get a better deal, maybe even higher trim level for what the 19 SR would be.

No I have not looked. I may look around on cars.com later when there is no college football games on.

The SR, access cab with the V6 DOES NOT have the option of the rear seat delete. Dealer priced me one at $28,560... $641 dollars less than this one. Guess I'll hold off buying for awhile. In the last 3 years I bought a truck from him and sent another guy over and he bought a new Tacoma TRD Sport from him.
